The 2026 AGM for the Wellington-Halton Hills Conservative Electoral District Association will be happening Saturday June 20, 2026 at Acton Town Hall Centre, 19 Willow Street North ON L7J1Z6
At the AGM, the current Board of Directors provides updates and reports on the activities from the previous year. This will include Michael Chong our MP having a Question and Answer time.
We also elect the new Board of Directors for the 2026/2027 year.
You have to be a member in good standing, to vote or be elected to the Board of Directors. You should have experience serving on the Board of Directors anytime in the last 5 years before running for Executive. ( President, Vice-president, Secretary, Policy Chair, Membership Chair, Election Readiness)
Registration can start at 9:30 AM

Proposed Amendment to the Wellington-Halton Hills North Conservative EDA Constitution
Pursuant to section 13.2 of the EDA Constitution, the Board of Directors of the Wellington-Halton Hills North Conservative EDA (the EDA) submits the following amendment for
consideration by the membership of the EDA at the next Annual General Meeting.
Section 7.8 “The total number of elected directors shall not exceed twenty-four (24)”.
Current Article 7.9 shall be deleted and the following added in its place;
“The term of office for the directors shall be for a period until the second AGM after their election. One half of the number of directors shall be elected at each AGM. At the AGM when this amendment goes into effect, one half of the board shall be elected until the next AGM, and the remaining half of the directors shall hold office until the second AGM after this amendment goes into effect. Thereafter, one half of the Board of Directors shall be elected at each AGM. Directors appointed to serve out a vacancy under article 7.10 shall serve for the remainder of the term that was vacated. Directors appointed under article 7.11 shall serve until the next AGM.”
