The Wellington-Halton Hills North Conservative EDA will be holding a delegate selection meeting, Tuesday September 9th
Registration starts at 7:00PM for a 7:30PM meeting start
We must elect up to 10 members to represent us at the National Convention in Calgary, Alberta

One space is saved for a member 25 years of age or younger as of the last day of the convention and alternates will also be chosen.
In addition to the elected delegates, the EDA President and Candidate in the last election are automatic delegates.
The EDA will reimburse some of the travel, hotel and food expenses ( with receipts) if the delegates participate in the Convention and at least some of the planning meetings leading up to the convention.
Delegate fees must be paid by the delegate - a portion is treated as a donation to the party
If you are interested in running to be a delegate please let EDA President Angus Footman, (email) know so that he can make sure you have the paperwork before the election starts. Appendix B requires a mover, seconder and details about the delegate candidate.
failure to provide a completed Appendix B form to the Returning Officer and/or EDA President by the commencement of the vote at the Delegate Selection Meeting will result in the delegate candidate not being allowed to stand for election as a delegate;
For the purposes of accrediting members at the Delegate Selection Meeting to vote, they must provide identification using:
a. one original piece of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government agency containing the member’s photograph, name and address, or
b. two original pieces of identification, both of which contain the member’s name, one of which contains the member’s photograph and one of which contains the member’s address.
